Our Story
As fate would have it, it all began over 2022 4th of July weekend. Jane, working at MarineMax, went boating with friends Jason and Taylor. On the way back to the marina, they passed the Sailing Squadron, where they spotted Nick fixing a boat (of course). Turns out, Jason and Nick had grown up sailing together so Jane, Jason & Taylor stopped by for a tour and to chat. The tour included Nick's new & loud truck, the squadron & that was that... for now.
Jane kept hearing that truck drive by (they work on the same island), and after months of nudging Jason to invite “Cute Nick” out she finally ran into him downtown while he was with Sergio, another mutual friend. This time she got his number.
A few double texts from her (and help from Serg) later, Nick finally asked her out. First date? Boating on his Maverick skiff —same name as Jane’s dog (crazy coincidence)! Working just a golf cart ride apart on City Island and surrounded by mutual friends, their story took off.
