We would like you to actually be able to make it to our wedding, so we have provided a checklist so you are able to enter the country of Italy without illegally hopping borders!
Passport & ETIAS Travel Authorization Requirements (IMPORTANT!)
Essential Travel Documents & Entry Valid U.S. Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the departure date, though six months is recommended. We recommend getting your passport updated when you receive the save the date. ETIAS Authorization: Starting in late 2026, guests will need to apply for ETIAS travel authorization online before departure. Biometric Registration: Be prepared for the Entry/Exit System (EES), which records facial images and fingerprints at the Italian border.
