We are getting married at a campground. The ground is generally even and grassy, but be prepared to walk on uneven terrain. We will have propane heaters for when the sun goes down and a shelter in case it rains, but bring layers to stay warm - it's October in the mountains. There are two vault toilets on the campground and a sink with running water. There's also a shower that you can pay to use. You likely won't have service at the venue, but you'll get service closer to Idaho City.
Yes! The parking area will be right by the venue, so you won't have to walk far at all. If you show up early to set up your tent, you can drive right onto the campground to unload your stuff. Please make sure to move your car to the parking area asap, as space on the campground is very limited and we want to make sure that everyone gets a spot.
You're welcome to camp at the venue the night of the wedding. Please let us know if you plan on sleeping in a tent, your car or a van/trailer when you RSVP. Space for vehicles on the campground is limited, so please consider tent camping. You can start setting up your camp at 2:30 pm. We have to be out of there around 3 pm on Sunday. If you want to stay at the campground the night before or after the wedding, please make your own reservation here: https://parkwith.us/camps/creekside-campground-&-events
Potentially. Parking space on the campground is very limited, so we might have to limit the amount of car campers. If you can, please plan on tent camping.
Potentially. We will try to accommodate as many vans and campers as possible, but we can't guarantee that there's space for everyone. If you are able to, please plan on tent camping as space is limited.
This will be an adult event, so we respectfully ask that you don't bring your child. We really want you to come though, so if you can't attend without bringing your child, please reach out to us and we can work something out.
No dogs at the ceremony or during dinner, please! If you want to bring your dog, please leave them in your vehicle during those times. The venue requires dogs to be leashed at all times, so whenever your pup comes out, please put them on a leash.
We are limited on space, but if there's someone you'd like to bring, please reach out to us and we'll see what we can do.
