Why Manchester, Vermont?

Vermont has always been a very special place for Nicholas, as it is where he has spent almost half of his life. Nicholas was fortunate that his grandmother had a house in Vermont that provided his family the opportunity to go up to Vermont every weekend and during the holidays. Vermont has now become a very special place for Nicholas and Francesca as they, much like Nick when he was a youth, come up to Vermont almost every weekend to get out of the city to enjoy the mountains, whether in the verdant summertime or the frigid winter. During our wedding weekend, we hope you all can enjoy and appreciate why Vermont is so special to us.

What is there to do?

Answer

Plenty! Summertime is an amazing time in Vermont. Having a car is recommended as there are (virtually) no taxis to get you around. Summers in Vermont are best known for hiking, biking, swimming and farmers markets. Make sure you get out and about and enjoy the nature brought to you by the green mountain state. Bring plenty of sunscreen and bug spray just in case #adventureresponsibly! We will list a bunch of wonderful activities on our "Things to Do" page.
