Francesca and Nicholas first met in person on April 17, 2021, taking every risk to brave through the pandemic and meet at Grimm Brewery for their first date. We had a wild night that to took us around Brooklyn to one of our favorite pizza spots, Best Pizza, and a favorite watering hole, Full Circle Bar, where they tested each other's Skee ball skills (those skills haven't been needed a second time, but you never know!). After hitting it off, it was time for Francesca to meet the other lady in Nick's life, Delilah, the lovable black lab mix. Upon meeting each other, it was love at first sight for Francesca and Delilah, as we took an early spring walk around the Jackie Onassis reservoir before having some burrata pizza at Uva Next Door. We, disappointedly, left the leftover pizza at the restaurant. After Francesca asked Nick out to see Mortal Combat in IMAX, which was a major flex, next up was a trip to Cold Spring for a hike to see if we truly were compatible -- of course we were! This day will always be one of our favorites because during that time up Mount Taurus, we truly got to slow down and get to know each other. From there, the rest is history, as they say! Nick and Francesca have been almost inseparable, spending their weekends in Manhattan, Williamsburg or Vermont, galavanting around Central Park or the Williamsburg waterfront with a few stops to Other Half. Francesca and Nick have weathered many storms together, whether it's the bountiful rainstorms that you experience at a music festival, like at Nick's favorite - DelFest - or the snow storms that they enjoy together while reading a book, patiently waiting for the next time we can go skiing. Somewhere along the way, Puddles -- aka Mister Bubby -- joined our little group and we couldn't be more thankful for our growing family. From trips from east coast to west coast, moving in together while Francesca took care of Nick and two dogs while he recovered from tearing his ACL and Meniscus, to countless car rides listening to podcasts that make us laugh, learn or cry. Our lives have been full of love, amazing family and friends, Marvel re-watches, phenomenal pizza slices, and so many more precious memories -- during which we always forget to take pictures! We can't wait to make more memories with you all this weekend. Thank you for making us part of your lives.
