We hope COVID-19 will not affect our wedding, but we recognize the pandemic is still going on and COVID-19 continues to pose risks to our communities. The health and safety of our friends and families is our top priority, so we may need to adjust plans. If so, we will contact you and provide updates on our website. We appreciate your patience and understanding! We will follow the local COVID-19 guidelines. See more about St. Croix County COVID-19 here: https://www.sccwi.gov/covid19 Unfortunately, we don't know yet what those will be, or what COVID-19 numbers will look like in June 2022. Cases are increasing in Minnesota and around the country. We will have some KN95 and surgical masks (ASTM level 3) available for guests who would like to use one, though we are not requiring masks at this time. The reception will be indoors. We have some outdoor picnic table seating available for those who would feel more comfortable eating outside. If you would like to do that, let us know. We encourage all of our guests to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. If you have any questions about our wedding or are worried about COVID-19, please don't hesitate to reach out to Nick or Erin personally, or our joint email nickerinwolf@gmail.com.
There will be a shuttle during/after the reception to transport guests back to the two hotels with room blocks. The hotels are approximately 2-3 miles from the ceremony and reception venue. The shuttle will not take guests from the hotel to the venue.
There is free parking and you can park overnight.
We can't wait to celebrate our special day with you, but we unfortunately cannot accommodate children other than immediate family.
Yes, you can bring your newborn or infant. We will also have a private nursing space available.
GETTING TO CAMP ST. CROIX Our wedding ceremony and reception are located at the NORTH camp of Camp St. Croix, commonly called Day Croix. The camp is located off County Road F. Note: Sometimes when you put the address into Google Maps, it will send you through the Main Camp. This is not the right way. Look for a large sign that says "YMCA Camp St. Croix North Entrance, DayCroix." This is on Riverview Dr. off of County Road F, and across the street from a company called Phillips Medisize. It will look like you are driving into a neighborhood/housing development at first. GETTING TO THE CEREMONY SITE When you arrive, you will see the reception venue (large red building). Our ceremony is located beyond the building further down the trail. You will see a large covered picnic pavilion and sand play area. The ceremony will be just past it. We will have signs and ushers to help direct you. COCKTAIL HOUR/RECEPTION The cocktail hour and reception will be held back at the reception venue (large red building). You will pass this on your way to the ceremony location.
There is a meat and vegetarian option (quinoa) for dinner. There will be no nuts, including no peanut oil, in our food or desserts. If you have other food allergies, please reach out to us.
Weather permitting, our wedding ceremony will be outdoors, in the woods. Please dress and prepare accordingly. We will have some bug spray, sunscreen, etc. available to use. If weather does not pan out, we will have an indoor ceremony at the reception hall. The cocktail hour will be indoor/outdoor and the reception will be indoors. (See COVID-19 FAQ for information about eating outside).
We want to make sure all of our guests can access, enjoy and participate in our celebration! The ceremony space (outdoor amphitheater) has stairs that may not be feasible for everyone. You can go around the amphitheater and arrive at the bottom. We will have signs to direct you. If you require additional assistance, please let us know. A golf cart is available to bring you directly to the bottom, if helpful. The reception hall does not have stairs.
YMCA Camp St. Croix is a non-smoking venue. However, there will be a designated smoking area for guests who smoke. Please dispose of any cigarette butts/tobacco products appropriately while on the property.
