Hotel
This is the hotel we recommend to all friends and family visiting. The rooms are Instagram-worthy, the patio restaurant is downright enchanting, the building boasts a very cool mural, and half the price of other hotels in the area. Emma and her mom stayed here on separate occasions, and there were no complaints.
Hotel
This one is $$$, but it’s worth mentioning because it's brand new and basically has everything you could want on-site: a rooftop pool, a rooftop restaurant we thoroughly tested on Valentine’s Day, a main-floor restaurant that comes highly recommended, and even a brewery. Across the street is Platform, one of Emma’s favorite little escapes. You've got Brooklyn’s famous Roberta’s Pizza, Loqui (we basically keep the lights on here—get the chicken tacos), and Boba Guys, which is reliably good. And Broom St General Guild is always fun to pop into.
Hotel
The legendary Culver Hotel is basically a time capsule of old Hollywood. Charlie Chaplin once owned it—until he lost it in a poker game to John Wayne. The cast of Wizard of Oz stayed here during filming, uncluding all 124 oompa loompas, and if you’re lucky, you might catch a Grammy award-winning musician playing on the rooftop.
