Tighe, I am going to tell you an incredible story... the story of how I met your mother... (and also your mom-mom).. Seven odd years ago, I took a gamble and flipped a coin, a regular old coin that led me on a wild journey. That coin flip took me on a tour of the world, from Kansas to across the globe, and then the final stop being the last place a fan of Boston Sports wants to reside...New Jersey (dun dun dun). Fast forward to a December night at a Jersey Shore bar, because where else would your parents be on a Saturday night in their mid twenties... It was a lucky weekend. Your mother had won big in Atlantic City the night before and had been coaxed to continue the weekend at Johnny Macs in Asbury Park. Lucky for me your mom likes accents ;) and it wasn't long before we were drinking fireball, having a good laugh and I was somehow meeting her friends and even my future mother in law (your mom-mom). From there it was nights at Boyles, St. Pattys in Boston, BBQs, bringing friends together, and dancing to Bruce all throughout Sea Bright and Belmar. Now son, seven odd years ago I flipped a regular coin. I traveled to strange places around the world and ended up in a Jersey Bar. I found myself dancing with a Jersey girl, making new friends and making New Jersey my home. The moral of the story is that it's okay to take risks... life is a gamble, and sometimes the best things can stem from a simple flip of a coin... That is the story of how I met your mother.
