Three years ago, we moved to Kauai with little-to-no plan: just an intuition that we wanted to try island life, and this mellow place (that Dana had never been to) sounded like a good fit. Two days in, we knew we’d found a paradise that would also become a home to us forever. All of the Hawaiian islands have their own unique magic. Kauai, “The Garden Isle”, is best known for its stunning beaches (the most in the state!), lush jungles, world-class surfing, abundance of waterfalls, dreamy hikes, delicious fruit, and laid-back energy. We breathe a little deeper every time we step off the plane; locals love to say, “the best part about leaving is coming home”. We can’t tell you how many people we’ve met who vacationed here once and literally never left. Maybe one of you will be next :)
