Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome at all events, besides the after party (since it’s at a bar). Reach out to Coz and Nick about getting a babysitter in New Orleans, if you’d like to attend the After Party or any events without your kids.

Will there be food and drinks at the Welcome Party?

Answer

The welcome party is for everyone! We would love to see you all before the big day. We advise folks to eat dinner beforehand as there will only be appetizers at the party. There is a lot of food nearby. Some of our favorites nearby are: Acamaya, Capulet, Frady's, Pizza Delicious, Sneaky Pickle, Marie's (smash burgers), Silk Road, Evviva. There will be an open bar, live music, and some speeches at the party!

What is the attire for the wedding and reception?

Answer

You're invited to our costume wedding! The theme is joyful. Pick a character, color, headpiece, fun hat, and make it your outfit theme! Think wacky-tacky day at school, Mardi Gras party, Halloween minus the scary costumes. Be silly! Feel good in what you wear! Embrace New Orleans! Etsy has a ton of cool headpieces and other costume pieces. We will also have racks of costumes and a hat making station at the wedding so you can add to your outfit! Will transportation be provided for wedding events?

Answer

The only transportation we are providing is a one-way trip to the after party at okay bar. New Orleans is not that big, so taking an Uber/Lyft, city bikes (can download the Blue Bikes app to find bikes near you!), the streetcar, or city bus (download Le Pass for streetcar and bus tickets!) are all available to you to get where you need to go throughout the weekend.

Answer

No, but we have a list of Airbnb's, hotels, and bed and breakfasts we suggest in the "Travel" page on this website.

How do we get to the after party?

Answer

The after party is at okay bar about 2 miles away. A bus will pick those who want to keep the party going at 10pm from Derbes Mansion. You are also welcome to drive (if you're sober!) or take a Lyft/Uber. Please start loading in the bus when it arrives as we have a hard stop at the venue at 10pm.
