Carmina's favorite wine bar in San Diego! Try samples of specialty olive oils or enjoy tapas and your choice of vino on the back patio with a view of the ocean.
The Cottage
We celebrated with mimosas at this iconic breakfast spot after getting engaged last November. Plan accordingly - they get really busy and don't take reservations! Nick recommends the pancakes (duh!).
La Jolla Cove
Our venue is right next to the iconic La Jolla Cove. Take a leisurely beachfront stroll, enjoy the view of seals lounging on the rocks. Bonus - The Cave Store has direct access to Sunny Jim's Sea Cave for an epic photo. Please note, walking up and down steps are a requirement to access the cave.
Birch Aquarium at Scripps
Everyone knows about Sea World, but this aquarium is just around the corner from our venue. Enjoy the sea life! Fun fact: Carmina has been going to this aquarium since she was a baby.
La Jolla Open Aire Farmers Market
While we're getting ready for our big day, you can kick off your Sunday morning at this farmers' market. Enjoy fresh produce, flowers, and delicious local eats. Open from 9 am to 1:30 pm on Sunday.
