Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family who are walking down the isle with us on our special day!

Heather Fillafer

Maid of Honor

Heather is Brittney's younger sister. Growing up Brittney used to pick on Heather fairly regularly and it is highly likely Heather will even tell you about the time that Brittney close lined her and knocked her unconscious. Brittney and Heather have a four year age gap so they didn't become close until they were a little older. You can often find them picking on their mom whether she notices or not. Many of you may not know but Heather has a true passion for animals and nature. There has been a few times where Brittney has had to call Heather for advice related to the dogs. Whether it is a simple question or difficult question Heather is always there to answer the call, even when Brittney is crying hysterically on the phone because she thinks the worst possible outcome.

Zack Snyder

Best Man

Zack is Nick's younger brother. Growing up Nick and Zack were pretty close and would always find crazy things to do. They would try to live life dangerously, or as dangerously as their mom would allow them. They built sketchy bike ramps, always challenged each other, but most of all they would always be there to stick up for their little sisters. They would fight like every sibling rivalry but would always be fine later on. Zack graduated high school and decided to fulfill one of his life long dreams, to help people. So he joined the marines. When he left for the marines even though he was only gone for a short time, Nick was heartbroken. The person he could talk to couldn't talk to him. Nick says in his own words that his little brother is his hero.

Mary Althoff

Bridesmaid

Mary and Brittney met in Fall of 2013 when they became Sorority Sisters at the University of Wisconsin Stout. Mary also happens to be one of Brittney's Little Sisters. For those of you who don't know what a Little is essentially, in a Sorority you get a Big Sister who is there to guide you through Sorority life and be your go to person whether you are happy or sad. So although Mary isn't Brittney's biological sister they sure act as big and little sisters. Even though Mary and Brittney don't get to see each other as much as they did back in college it is always as if not much time has passed. They try their best to get together as often as possible and even recently got to go to Nashville for Mary's birthday!

Charlie Erickson

Groomsman

Charlie and Nick have the longest friendship out of all of Nick's friends. They met when they were 3 and 4 years old. Nick looked up to Charlie, much like an older brother, due to the fact that Nick was the oldest of his siblings. Nick would frequently follow Charlie around. They would play basketball and football everyday and even played videogames on a constant. One thing that Nick and Charlie had in common was there love for music. They would go to concerts all of the time. They had some falling outs, but just like family they always find their way back into each others lives. Nick was the ordained Minister for Charlies wedding and his best man. It is safe to say this friendship will never be broken.

Tiffany Lauersdorf

Bridesmaid

Tiffany and Brittney met in the spring of 2013 when they became Sorority Sisters at the University of Wisconsin Stout. They quickly realized they had the same dark sense of humor and shared a love for true crime and horror movies. If you were to look through any messages between the two you would find some pretty dark memes along with some discussions about serial killers and crimes. Tiffany is always looking to help others and is always down for a good time which is why Brittney always knew she wanted Tiffany by her side on the big day. That fact was even reassured when they went to the east coast for a wedding and Tiffany ended up helping Brittney through a Crohn's flare up, which was not pretty!

Adam Schmitt

Groomsman

Adam is another one of Nicks life long friends. They met in first grade and stuck together like glue in school and believe it or not but Nick at one point was taller than Adam (not for long though). Even though Adam is still a month younger than Nick, Nick has to literally look up to him. Nick and Adam always helped each other with anything and everything. Nick helped Adam with some low points and basically didn't leave Adams side for 6 months and Adam was always there for Nick to either talk to, hangout, and give advice. The bond between them is insane when they see each other it is like they saw each other yesterday. Nothing skips a beat when it comes to them. Nick is still apologizing to Adam though from when he almost capped the boat on fishing opener.

Samantha Snyder

Bridesmaid

Sam is the oldest out of Nick's younger sisters. Sam tends to get picked on quite often by her other siblings. Despite being ridiculed Sam is kind, caring, and is always there to lend an ear and just listen when you need her the most. Growing up Sam had the wildest imagination. She could think of anything on a dime and actually feel like you where at the spot she is explaining. She never had to worry when it came to going through school. She knew she was protected by both her older brothers no matter the situation. She could depend on them. She still is mad at Nick for putting her on time out growing up as Nick told her to sit on the stool and watch the timer on the microwave. Nick put the timer on for 99:99 and said she needed a lesson. What that lesson is we will never know.

Nick Patten

Groomsman

Nick P. (Patten) and Nick met each other in first grade as well and were best friends right away. They were Nick squared. They did everything together all through school. Patten was there when Nick was going through some tough times with battling depression and he made sure that Nick was ok. Patten has the biggest heart and will gladly help someone when they need it. He will sit next to you and listen and be there for you even if he is having a bad time himself. They mess with each other a lot and talk almost daily on the phone. Patten just recently had his first daughter, Addison, and has been doing an amazing job being a dad. Nick couldn't be more proud of him.

Cassidy 'Cass' Snyder

Bridesmaid

Cass is Nick's youngest sister. Although Cass is the youngest of the four Snyder kids she is one of the sassiest. Cass is always there to share a good laugh with and can easily bring a smile to your face. One time Nick was at home with all of his friends in high school. Cass and Sam came running in the house crying. Nick asked what happened and they said a boy hit her and was being disrespectful. Not one word was said everyone got up and went outside to hide. Nick walked up to the boy and confronted him. The boy denied it at first then all of Nick's friends came out of hiding and surrounded him. The boy then broke down and apologized. Nick said you don't mess with his sisters. Nick will always be there for Cass no matter time or day.

Adam Looman

Groomsman

Adam and Nick met each other back in the 6th grade. Unfortunately they got acquainted by fighting each other. While they were sitting in the office together they started laughing and then from there they were a team. Adam was always the level headed one of the group even though he would also cause some of the mischief. He always made sure there was someone who was actually thinking in the group. Adam and Nick played baseball together while Adam's dad was the coach. Nick basically stayed at Adams place that whole summer while playing ball. Adam's dad did like to trick them a lot by having Adam invite us over for a night of hanging out then the next day his dad would put them to work. Nick was the only one of Adam's friends who didn't complain because Nick loves helping people out.

Stella Looman

Flower Girl

Stella is Adam (Groomsmen) and Jillian Looman's and daughter. Nick and Brittney have grown to cherish their time spent seeing Stella grow up! Stella is the sweetest and it is hard to resist her cuteness.

Thorin 'Thor' Erickson

Ring Bearer

Thor is Groomsmen Charlie Erickson's son. Thor loves the Vikings and Marvel characters. Thor also has three brothers, one older and two younger. Nick and Britney picked Thor as the Ring Bearer due to his enthusiasm and ability to make those around him smile.

Dakota Lenske

Usher

Dakota is the boyfriend of the Maid of Honor, Heather. Dakota is always ready to have a good time as well as lend a helping hand. In his spare time Dakota loves to spend time outdoors, whether it is fishing, hunting, or even snowmobiling with the Fillafer family. Nick and Brittney are so happy to have Dakota join them and help out on the big day. They couldn't be happier that Heather found a stand up guy like him.

Frankie Vigil

Usher

Nick and Frankie have just recently become best friends. They met working at Daikin applied together and had there love for music and being crazy which made them close friends. Nick and Frankie always try to push each other to do better in life. They are always helping each other out whether it is moving people or even give advice when they are down in the dumps. They are really close and Nick couldn't be more honored to have Frankie in the wedding.

Angela Fillafer

Mother of the Bride

Angie is mother to both Brittney and Heather. If Angie isn't working she loves to spend time with her family, including her two cats and one dog! Although growing up Brittney gave her mom a hard time she is grateful for everything that she was taught. Angie pushed Brittney and Heather to always do the right thing and treat others how you want to be treated. Some of Brittney's favorite times with her mom would be their family trips. Whether it was snowmobiling, a trip to Disney, or just a weekend camping trip up north Angie always tried to make the most of it and made sure that both Heather and Brittney had fun. Even now as Brittney and Heather are older Angie still wants them to have fun and enjoy the time spent with family.

Kathy Snyder

Mother of the Groom

Kathy is Nicks Mom. Nick is the oldest out of her four children's. She has 2 boys and 2 girls. She has worked for a place called Fireside restaurant for 10 years now and is one of the Assistant GM's. She loves to go above and beyond for anyone. She will take the shirt off of her back just to help someone in need. She is Nicks support system on anything. If Nick has an issue he will talk to his mom. also vise versa. Kathy had actually helped Nick get out of a bad situation that could have ended so badly for him. Within a week she took everything she had out of her spare bedroom just to make room for Nick to move in. Even when she was living in a smaller place she made room for Nick. She always goes above and beyond and is the best mom Nick could ask for.

Dennis Fillafer

Father of the Bride

Dennis is Brittney's dad. Growing up Brittney was definitely a daddy's girl and always enjoyed the weekend adventures with him when Angie was working. If Dennis isn't swamped with his two businesses he enjoys having a cold Corona with a lime and being outdoors. Dennis taught Brittney many valuable lessons in life and if you know him you would likely say Brittney has picked up on many of his popular catch phrases. Some of those include, "It should be fine" in which it never was fine and "if you want it done right do it yourself" which annoys the heck out of Nick. To this day Brittney is still a daddy's girl and even got Dennis to go with wedding dress shopping. Growing up Dennis helped out with finding homecoming and prom dresses so this time wasn't any different.

Ronald Snyder

Father of the Groom

Ron is Nick's Father. He is the youngest out of his own family. He has worked at production facility for about 10 years now and is basically the master trainer. He is very good at what he does and Nick can vouch for that. Nick actually worked with his dad for 3 years. When Nick had started his dad was his trainer and that made for a quick learning process. After a few months Ron and Nick where helping to train people and help the team members out. Ron loves his family like no other and would drop everything and do what ever it takes to help you. He loves the simple things in life. He has great advice which is "It Is What It Is". Nick can always count on his dad to help him or listen when he needs an ear. Lastly, Ron is a die hard Vikings Fan.
