Answering your Questions

The Wedding Website of Brittany Bishop and Nicholas Scaglione
If you have any other questions not answered here, please feel free to reach out to the bride or groom prior to the big day!
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire so formal suits or tux for the gents and floor-length gowns or cocktail dresses for the ladies- whatever you’re more comfortable in. It can be very hot and humid or it can be cool and breezy in September in Summerville, so please check the weather and plan accordingly. **The events will be taking place both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor space is a gravel/dirt area, so plan your shoes accordingly! You won’t want to be barefoot dancing on the gravel by the end of the night!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The venue has a modest space for parking, carpooling or use of other transportation is highly encouraged! Make sure you have your event ticket for security to let you in to park! If you are unsure of what we’re talking about, reach out to Brittany BEFORE the week of the wedding!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

At your earliest convenience please, but absolutely no later than August 13th. After this date we will consider those who haven’t responded to not be attending.

Question

Where is the best place to stay?

Answer

We have hotel blocks at 2 different hotels nearby and there are many options for Airbnb rentals near the venue. You will fine more information in the “travel” section.

Question

When should I plan to be at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 4:30pm, I would recommend being there at least 15-20 minutes early to get settled in before the ceremony starts.

Question

How much time should I plan out for travel?

Answer

The venue is about 20 minutes from the hotels, but traffic is unpredictable and it would be good to give 25-30 minutes to get to the ceremony from either of the hotels. All events are at the same location, so there is no need to travel between events! The airport is about a 30 minute drive from the hotels, with heavier traffic up to 45 minutes.

Question

Will there be a dinner?

Answer

Rather than a traditional sit-down dinner, food will be available for you to get your meal at your leisure throughout the night. You will order whenever you are ready, but keep in mind your meal isn't prepared until you order so it will take some time before it is ready - just as if you were eating at the bistro on a normal night.

Question

Is clemson home or away?

Answer

Yes I know it’s football season, yes it’s an away game for the tigers at Georgia tech, but please keep in mind it is an unplugged ceremony and the bride and groom would like to have you fully present while joining in celebration!

Question

Where are we registered?

Answer

We are registered at Target, Crate and Barrel, Amazon and through Zola, but you can find all of our registries linked in the “registry” section of our website.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Our ceremony is unplugged, we invite you to be fully present for the newly weds and respectful of the service and our wishes. We have professionals capturing all the little moments, give them space to work, and we will gladly share the photos with you. Before and after service we welcome you to take all the photos you want.
