If you're a NASCAR fan, then you'll be thrilled to know that our wedding weekend is also a race weekend here in Kansas City! It does put a bit of a crunch on hotel rooms available at a reasonable price near the venue, as the closest rooms to the venue are also right near the Speedway - we're just about 5 miles apart. If you're not booking at the Hyatt Place, we'd recommend getting rooms in that general vicinity of Lenexa City Center, as it's only about 15 minutes south of the venue. Other options include: I-35 & 95th Street or 87th Street, about 5-6 miles southeast of the Hyatt. A few miles further south on 435, there are options at K-10 & Renner in Olathe.
