FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive a few minutes before 4pm so that we can ensure we’re able to start on time. Thank you!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please do your best to RSVP by May 14th, 2026 (one month before) so that we can ensure we have the most accurate headcount possible.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We specifically didn’t include a dress code in the invite as we wanted this event to feel comfortable. However, we recommend a dressy casual (i.e., dark-wash jeans if you plan to wear them) or semi-formal style.

Question

Will there be dancing?

Answer

While we will still be participating in the traditional dances (think first dance, father/daughter dance, etc.), there will be more of a focus on games and community than dancing afterwards. There will still be music going, so feel free to dance as your heart desires. But for the second half of the reception, the main event will be card games!

Question

Will the event be mostly inside or outside?

Answer

The event will mainly be indoors. There is AC inside the venue so don’t expect it to be too warm! There will likely be a shorter period outdoors between activities. You are also welcome to go outside for a breath of fresh air whenever you’re interested. The venue overlooks a beautiful pond so please enjoy the view!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes! If you would like to have a +1 at your wedding, we have already calculated that into our estimated numbers. All we ask is that you ensure you RSVP for them. Thank you!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children are welcome at our wedding! We will even have a children’s table on the second level with some activities to keep kiddos entertained. However, we will note that there will be a cocktail hour (or two) during the reception, so if this is not something that makes sense for your kid, it might be best to leave them at home. We leave it to your discretion and your individual needs!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, we are registered with Zola (this wedding website). Please click on the “Registry” tab at the top of the page to view our registry in more detail.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we do! We have a hotel block at The Riverside Hotel as this is our recommended hotel. Another good option is The Grove Hotel as it’s right in the heart of downtown Boise. If this does not fit your needs, we would recommend using a home-renting website like Vrbo or Airbnb.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know! We want to ensure we are being sensitive to food allergies, especially those that are serious. We may not be able to always accommodate special requests but we are working to have different options for different lifestyles and ways of eating. Please let us know when you RSVP under the dietary restrictions section and also let us know if it is a serious allergy. Even if you don’t know if that food will be included, please let us know anyway!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking at the venue! The ceremony and the reception will be in the same place so there will be no need to drive anywhere else after the ceremony.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation to and from the hotels. Therefore, we recommend using Uber or Lyft as a ride service or calling a taxi using the information your hotel has on hand.
