Sheplers Mackinac Island Ferry

The ferry is available from Mackinaw City in the Lower Peninsula or St. Ignace in the Upper Penninsula. The ferry trip is approximately 20 minutes. A group discount has been arranged with the Sheplers Mackinac Island Ferry. Ferry tickets can be purchased at the ticket office located at the Sheplers ferry dock on the day of your trip or in advance by visiting the Sheplers website. Mackinac Island Carriage Tours and Taxi

Horse drawn carriage taxi service is available 24 hours a day to take you anywhere on Mackinac Island. Carriage shuttles run every 30 minutes to and from Mission Point Resort, coordinating with the ferry schedule. The cost for the trip is $6.50 per adult to the downtown area and must be paid in cash. Contact the Concierge at Mission Point for schedules or assistance with shuttles and taxis. Please be aware that carriages depart promptly at the scheduled departure times and will not wait for you if you are late!
