If you are planning to arrive on Friday night for early activities, please note there is an entrance fee of $30 per car. This will allow entrance and exit for 7 days. If you are planning to come to the wedding on the day of, please add additional time for getting into and around Shenandoah. It is a "Free Pass Day" - no entry fee required - so there will be higher than usual traffic coming into and driving around the park. Also note that cell service is variable, so please downloaded your directions ahead of time.
Due to size restrictions, children will not be able to attend the reception. We will provide childcare (it will be in one of the cabins/rooms - walking distance from the reception and ceremony). Please let us know if you require childcare so we can hire the appropriate number of childcare workers.
The dress code is "Mountain Chic." This means you should dress up a little ("wedding casual") for the wedding but be aware of the weather and wear appropriate footwear. All wedding events are within a 10-minute walk from each other. The ceremony will be held at Peak View stage which is in the forest and is surrounded by trees. September in Shenandoah can be chilly or hot so check the weather! For all other events (fire pit on Friday, lunch on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday) - wear what your heart desires!
