Kristallwelten
This is an amazing gardens decorated with beautiful glass from the famous Swarovski. It is a 40 minute train ride or 20 minute drive from Innsbruck
Nordkette Cable Car
Really cool cable car which takes you to the top of the Nordkette mountain range within minutes. This is included in the Innsbruck Card (we will be providing).
360° Cafe
Bar with the best view in all of Innsbruck! This is one of our favorite places to go to after dinner!
Imster Bergbahnen
This is one of our favorite "off the beaten path" activities. It is in Imst which is about a 30-45 minute drive from Innsbruck. Included in the price of a trip down the rodelbahn/toboggan/alpine coaster is a ride up on the chair lift. The toboggans are on a fixed track and fed by gravity with a single brake. You are able to go as quick or as slow as you want!
Schloss Ambras
Schloss Ambras is one of the oldest museums in the world. It was inhabited by Archduke Ferdinand II and was then made into a Reinassance castle. It holds amazing art and artifacts from the armories of Emperor Maximillian and Leopold. It is located on the outskirts of Innsbruck.
Bergisel
The Bergisel is part of the Innsbruck skyline. The hill itself was the location of the Battles of Bergisel in 1809. A monument was then erected in 1892. There used to be a smaller jump which was then replaced by the current Bergisel which was built for the 1964 Olympics and used again in the 1976 Olympics. There is a cafe on top and a panorama museum exhibit as well.

This is my cousin's food cart which serves some of the best soups in Innsbruck!
Stiftskeller
This is one of our favorite restaurants in Innsbruck. Very traditional fare and great bier!
Weisses Rössl
This is another favorite restaurant of ours. It has a great terrace, indoor seating and is also a beautiful hotel right in the middle of the Altstadt.
Hofburg
This is a palace that was used by the Habsburgs and the third most important palace in all of Austria. It is surrounded by the stunning Hofgarten (both are located just beyond the Altstadt).
Hofgarten
This is a 25-acre garden that accompanies the Hofburg palace as one of Innsbruck's best green spaces very close to the Altstadt.
Alpen Zoo
This zoo is very unique. It is on the way to the Nordkettenbahnen, and is home to Chamois' and other animals living in the alps.
Sterzing
Sterzing is a great town in the Italian Dolomites which is a day trip from Innsbruck. It is located in the Sud Tirol region, which isn't Austria nor Italy, it's a very unique blend of both.
Bolzano
Bolzano is a Sud Tirol town located in northern Italy in the Dolomites which is a bit further than Sterzing. It is a bit further of a day trip from Innsbruck.
Hall in Tirol
Hall is a short 10-minute train ride from Innsbruck and is a fun quick trip for a coffee or lunch.
Lansersee
There are many lakes near Innsbruck with Lansersee being the closest. Other options are Blindsee and Piburgersee.
