Cape Cod Rail Trail

The Cape Cod Rail Trail is a 25.5-mile paved rail trail located on Cape Cod. The trail route passes through the towns of Yarmouth, Dennis, Harwich, Brewster, Orleans, Eastham, and Wellfleet. The trail is nicely paved making it an excellent place to walk, run and bike. You can rent bikes for the day from Dennis Cycle Center https://www.denniscyclecenter.com/

Bank Street Beach

Great public beach just 10 minutes from the Pelham House making it an excellent place to hang by the water or walk along the beach. The private beach at Pelham house is another great option if you're just looking to spend a few hours by the water!

Downtown Chatham

Chatham is a seaside town at the southeastern tip of Cape Cod. It's known for its beaches, including Lighthouse Beach near the landmark 19th-century Chatham Lighthouse. There is a cute downtown for shopping and walking around!

Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard

Looking to take a day trip Sunday? Take a ferry from Harwich Port or Hyannis and spend a day in either Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard! Nantucket: Nantucket, a tiny, isolated island off Cape Cod, Massachusetts, is a summer destination with dune-backed beaches. It’s marked by unpainted cedar-shingled buildings, many surrounded by manicured privets. The wharves and cobblestoned streets of the Town of Nantucket are lined with restaurants, high-end boutiques and steepled churches. The town’s Whaling Museum recounts the island’s role as a 19th-century whaling hub. Martha's Vineyard: A longtime New England summer colony, it encompasses harbor towns and lighthouses, sandy beaches and farmland. It's accessible only by boat or air. Vineyard Haven, on the eastern end, is a ferry port and the island's commercial center. Oak Bluffs has Carpenter Gothic cottages and an iconic carousel.
