Nick and Jane met online in January 2019 and quickly set up their first date at the Berkeley Inn, an old Denver dive bar. That date lasted hours longer than either had expected, and from then on they were inseparable: motorcycle rides up the mountain, roller skating, bicycling along Clear Creek, and working their way through every diner and dive bar in town. By their first camping trip, when Nick led Jane to sleep just feet from a dramatic drop into the Rio Grande, they knew they were headed toward love. They squeezed in time together however they could- Nick pulling up with his mobile bike shop between clients, Jane visiting after late-night pizza parlor shifts, and even braving the infamous 2019 “bomb cyclone” snowstorm just to enjoy some popcorn together. One night back at the Berkeley Inn (perhaps after a few beers each) the truth came out plainly: they were in love. Nick’s dog, Gutter, had already helped seal the deal by warming up to Jane right away- a rare honor from a dog not known for easy approval. By December 2019 Jane had moved in with Nick and Gutter on Green Court, perfect timing for the COVID years when the three happily hunkered down together. That's how the following seven years pass... the three hunkered down together through the ups and downs of life. Now, Nick and Jane are excited to take the next step into marriage and can’t wait to celebrate with you on their wedding day and beyond!
