Question

Do I need to be vaccinated to attend?

Answer

YES. However if you choose not to get vaccinated we look forward to celebrating with you at another time. We are asking that our friends and family in attendance have received both doses of their COVID vaccination and that they are two weeks from receiving their last dose. We thank you for your understanding as we are trying to make this as safe and carefree for everyone as possible.

What COVID safe precautions will be taken?

Answer

Masks and hand sanitizer will be available for guests. Currently in Montgomery county masks are required inside when not actively eating or drinking.

Are there COVID testing sites near the hotel?

Answer

Yes! If you are traveling from out of town we recommend taking a COVID test upon or before arrival. Thank you. Answer

We love your kids-we truly do! But due to the limited capacity of the facility we won't be including children at the ceremony or reception.

Is there transportation from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be bus transportation provided, however, there is also free self-parking available at the venue. Unfortunately there is no valet at our venue. Please see the travel and accommodations page for more information about scheduled bus times.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation specifically says "Guest" or your significant others name, then yes. If not, then unfortunately we will not be able to accommodate a guest due to our venue capacity.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire, please. The ceremony and part of cocktail hour will be outside, so please bring a jacket if you tend to get chilled.

Is there a metro and public transportation near the hotel?

Answer

Yes! The Hyatt Regency Bethesda sits just above a Metro station. There are also Metro buses that run various routes through the city. There is a free Metro app you can download to your smart phone! Metro cards are available to purchase in the Metro station themselves, not on the buses- but you can pay with cash.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The weather can be warm or chilly! We recommend that you keep an eye on the weather prior to arriving. It might be wise to pack for either scenario.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Answer

While our venue is not ADA accessible, the grove where the ceremony will be held does have a drop off location as well as a cemented level path leading to the site.
