Downtown Frederick is a really charming historic town with a creek-side trail, cute shops, and great restaurants and bars. If you have time in the morning or between the ceremony and reception, take a stroll along Carroll Creek Park or grab a coffee at one of the local cafes.

Fun, creative spirits and cocktails. We spent an excellent evening here with friends while wedding planning.
History buffs will love Frederick's Civil War connections. The town was a key crossroads during the conflict, with nearby landmarks like Antietam National Battlefield, Gettysburg National Military Park, Monocacy National Battlefield, and the Museum of Civil War Medicine, located right in downtown Frederick.
