Yep, the infamous “Catholic gap” strikes again. There will be about a two-hour break between the ceremony and the reception. This is a perfect time for guests staying at the hotel to check in, freshen up, and catch the shuttle to the reception. If you’re not staying at the hotel, downtown Frederick has plenty to offer, including coffee shops, boutiques, breweries, distilleries, and more, so you’ll have no trouble filling the time.
The church has plenty of parking, and we encourage guests to drive or carpool. Parking at the venue is very limited. The Frederick County Department of Housing and Community Development offers free parking on weekends, with around 100 spots available, just across the canal (a 5-minute walk). The Carroll Creek Garage is also nearby, charging $1 per hour and is about an 8-minute walk to the venue. Shuttle buses from the hotels with room blocks will be available, and Ubers/Lyfts are readily available throughout the Frederick area.
Yes, we will be providing a bus for guests staying at the hotel (first come, first serve). The bus will leave at 4:30 PM to take you to the venue and will return to the hotel at 10:00 PM after the reception. Ubers and Lyfts are also widely available in Frederick if you prefer to arrange your own transportation.
While we love your little ones, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this allows all of our guests to relax and enjoy the evening with us!
The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. We suggest that men wear a suit and women wear a midi or floor-length dress. The event is entirely indoors, so feel free to wear heels if you wish!
If your invitation includes a plus one, it will be indicated on the envelope. Due to space constraints, we are focusing on celebrating with our closest family and friends, so we appreciate your understanding!
