To RSVP, click the RSVP tab in the menu above and type the name(s) listed on your invitation. To help us with our planning, please RSVP to the events as soon as possible. However, the deadline is noted on your invitation and on the RSVP page. If we don't receive your RSVP by the date noted, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as 'no'. We need to provide the venue and subsequent vendors with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand.

To travel to Guatemala, you need 2 things: 1) U.S. passport that is valid at the time of entry 2) Traveler Declaration A traveler declaration/immigration form is required to provide customs officials with necessary information about your travel, including what items you are bringing into Guatemala. Some airlines require that passengers complete the Electronic Traveler Declaration prior to check-in. So, we recommend filling this form out at least 3 days prior to your travel. Once the form is filled out and submitted, make sure to take a picture of the QR code displayed on the confirmation screen. For more information and access to the website where you'll fill out your traveler declaration please go to the "Electronic Traveler Declaration" section under the 'Transport & Accommodations' tab.

The best way to get to see Antigua's culture, art, and history is by foot. We recommend that you pack comfortable shoes to walk Antigua's cobblestone streets like a local. For non-walkable destinations, you can use Uber or three-wheel taxi's know as Tuk Tuks.

Celebrating our big day with you is the only gift we need. However, for those who are interested, we've set up a cash fund to help pay for the down payment/closing costs on a home after the wedding and we'd be grateful for any contributions, big or small. Even though the cash fund is our featured gift, we have also added some physical gift options incase some guests are uncomfortable making cash fund contributions. All cash funds/gifts/registries are linked and can be found on the 'Registry' tab of our wedding website.
We have arranged a travel agency to transport guests from La Aurora International Airport to Antigua and vice versa. Our wedding planner, Claudia Salazar, will arrange travel reservations for guests. There’s a number of things to do in Antigua Guatemala; from visiting some of the city’s many historic houses, churches, and former convents, to shopping for traditional handicrafts, experiencing Guatemala’s home-grown coffee culture in the many cafes, and hiking up some of the nearby volcanoes. For more information and recommendations please go to the 'Things to Do' tab.
Antigua is deemed the "World's Most Beautiful Holy Week Celebration" (Forbes, 2019) and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a weeklong celebration of the events leading up to Jesus Christ's resurrection. People from all over the world come to see the colorful sawdust rugs and processions. The whole city fills with color and crowds of people, from Sunday, March 29 to Saturday, April 4; a week before the wedding. Keep this in mind when you do your reservations. If you wish to see this unique site, take the chance and come between those dates to Antigua. If not, wait until either Thursday (April 9th, 2026) or Friday (April 10, 2026) to get there.
Guatemala is an amazing country and generally is safe to travel. Here are some general guidelines: if you travel by car, we recommend not to do long drives during the night and not to walk alone late at night.
We recommend exchanging your dollars in Banks in Antigua, Guatemala. The easiest is to use ATMs that are available in most hotels and all over Antigua. The Guatemalan currency is the Quetzal (Q). Currency may vary by the time of your visit, but it's approximately Q7.5 = $1. Most places accept credit cards, but you get more bang for your buck by paying in Quetzales.
Guatemala is called the land of the eternal spring, meaning there's good weather most of the year. April is a great month to visit Guatemala as the climate is comfortable and the temperature varies between 59F to 80F. Expect bright blue skies, but cooler nights once the sun goes down, so bring a light jacket.
