Venturing home after Ren Faire, November 2019. What a memorable adventure!

Quarantine Christmas with the family. The card is from Lily, so everyone could be together in spirit. It's a favorite of recent "group photos."

Feeling victorious after breaking in our bikes for the first time! Riding together has been a goal since our early relationship, and in 2020, we finally had the bikes to do it! Success!

My two favorite girls! Every morning starts with a smile with you two. ❤

The chess set we spontaneously bought at a bookstore came with two sets of white pieces. Not a defect; a customization opportunity! A 2015 date with sunshine, painting, and stories of the battlefield.

First in a long line of breakfast exploration. Ellie took us here on the way to the history museum where she made the stories come alive. Plus, those mugs were awesome!

Dubbed "Happiest Squirrel of the USA" when we met him in 2015 in Washington, DC. This little guy and his park antics left such an impression, he still gets referenced today!

The summit field outside our storybook orchard in Boone. Ellie must have taken surprise photos in-between our spells of dancing. The grasses glowed with sunlight!

A glimpse into our storybook forest. It's off a path from our favorite Blueridge lookout. Nichole meant to propose here, under an apple tree.

From our 6th anniversary picnic! This photo captures our excitement for both the present and future. We explored downtown Charlotte, art museums, and antiques, but the conversation was best of all.

Surprise birthday flowers delivered to work!

First snowman we built together since Boone! Hillsborough got enough snow in 2018 to build a friend. There was plenty for sledding in the neighborhood too!

A very special early date; Ellie had us capturing fairies in jars -the lights of the universe. It was nights like these that really cemented early impressions.

Teamwork! Dad gifted us puzzles, and together we escaped in record time!

An illustration originally created in 2015, based on the memory of our first date. Dancing in the rain by the soft glow of a street lamp, at the end of a very full, and beautiful day together.

We like to read aloud at night, something we've done since the beginning. Kiri's joining in the cuddle pile, hugging us both from above.

Ducky Guardian -Ellie had these warm lights strung up in her first apartment. They kept us safe and cozy during all those late night conversations.

Jack-Jack and Kiri met when we stayed with Mom and Dad for a little while in 2017. Moving out of Boone and changing jobs was hectic, but they got along pretty well!
