We actually met on a dating app and after chatting for a while, we finally went on our first date - and that was just the start of something really special. Soon after, Nick adopted our dog, Roscoe, who quickly became a huge part of our lives. We honestly can’t imagine life without him! Back then, Vera was working on her master’s degree in college in Atlanta and Nick was stationed in Macon, so weekends were all about long drives to see each other. It wasn’t always easy, but we knew it was worth it. One summer, during a trip to Saint Augustine, Nick surprised Vera with a proposal - a truly unforgettable moment that kicked off the next chapter of our journey together. We later tied the knot in Columbus, GA, and even had in a fun mini honeymoon in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Sure, we both got a bit sick, but it was all part of the adventure! Not too long ago, we moved to Texas and bought our first home. We love tackling home projects together and just soaking up life as we continue this crazy, wonderful ride - now with our dog Roscoe and our two cats, Salma and Sophie.
