Flight
We’ll be flying into Rome (FCO) on Saturday, September 19 (landing the next morning around 7:35 AM, Rome local time).
Hotel
This is where we will be staying from Sunday to Wednesday in Rome! We would love to have you nearby if it works with your travel plans for your time in Rome.
Travel Note
If you’re in Rome before check-in (or after check-out), you may want to store your bags so you can explore hands-free. Luggage storage is easy to find around the city and some locations start around €1/hour (pricing varies by provider and location). We recommend reserving ahead of time, especially near major landmarks and train stations!
Travel Note
We’ll be spending Sunday-Wednesday in Rome and would love to explore the city with family during those days! On Monday, we’ll also be hosting a welcome event in Rome before heading to Our Wedding location, Villa Clodia Relais, on Wednesday. More details (including the exact time and location) will be shared closer to the date.
Travel Note
We are so excited to head to the countryside on Wednesday! Nick and I will be heading up early in a private car to get ready for the rehearsal dinner, so we won't be hosting a group shuttle from Rome. Getting to the villa is very straightforward, and you have two great options: By Train: Manziana has a regional train station located right behind Villa Clodia in the town center, making it a quick and scenic ride directly from Rome. You can check schedules on the Trenitalia app! By Car/Shuttle: If you prefer a private ride or want to coordinate with other guests, the villa team has recommended a few local shuttle services. Please reach out to us directly and we’ll be happy to pass those details along!
House Or Rental
We’ll all be staying together at Villa Clodia Relais, a beautiful Liberty-style historic villa located within the historic village of Manziana (Lazio), with a pool and a gorgeous setting in the Roman countryside near Lake Bracciano. Dates: Check-in September 23rd → Check-out September 25th (2 nights) Layout: 11 bedrooms + 12 bathrooms About the town: Manziana is a small, authentic Italian town with a classic local rhythm. Morning cappuccinos, an evening stroll, and simple, relaxed dinners. The main gathering point is Piazza Tommaso Tittoni, known as the town’s central meeting place, and there are restaurants and cafés in town for easy meals and coffee runs. What to do during the stay: • Town time: espresso/pastries + aperitivo in the piazza + casual trattoria dinners • Lake Bracciano day: quick trip to the lakeside towns (Bracciano / Trevignano / Anguillara) for promenades, views, and lunch • Rome day trip: Manziana has a train station on the regional line into Rome (about ~1 hour) if anyone wants a “big city” adventure before/after wedding festivities
