What about COVID-19?

Answer

We are keeping an eye on COVID-19 guidance on both a state and local levels. For now, we are asking that if you have not been vaccinated (and you are over ten years old) that you wear a mask at all times except when eating.

How do I RSVP?

After formal invitations have been sent to guests, you can RSVP right here on our website! Select "RSVP" in the top right corner of the page and enter your name to begin. Looking forward to seeing you there!

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will be taking place outside and the cocktail hour and reception will be taking place in a historic barn setting. Unfortunately, floorboards weren't as level as they are now, so we strongly recommend wearing flat shoes or block heel shoes for ladies. No stilettos! Also, in traditional English fashion, ladies are encouraged, but are by no means required, to wear a hat. Mid-length or tea-length dresses are preferred. For our gentlemen, no top hats needed here- a simple coat and tie will do!

Will the venue have parking available?

Answer

Yes! The venue has a large parking lot available for anyone driving. Please keep in mind the parking lot is not paved.

What is the Uber/Lyft availability from the venue?

Answer

Sylvanside Farm is situated in beautiful rural Virginia. Lyft and Uber availability is likely to be quite sparse at the end of the night. We recommend booking ahead or driving to the venue if you can. Just remember to party responsibly if you drive yourself to the venue!
