Denver International Airport

Flight Denver International Airport is the nearest airport to Granby, Colorado. We highly recommend renting a car for the 2-hour drive to Granby. All major rental agencies are available. There are other transportation options available, such as a bus or a train but those options - although less expensive - may be unreliable or complicated.

Train

RTD Train to Union Station: Amtrack to Granby, CO

Train - Take the A-train from DIA to Union Station ($10 ride) - Take the Amtrack train through the mountains: Call 800-USA-RAIL for reservations, or visit amtrak.com (estimate of $30-40 dollars round trip) - Once in Granby, you'll need to arrange for the mile ride to Sun Outdoors. Ubers are very rare and unreliable. Depending on day departure times, you could spend a day in Denver and acclimate to the altitude then take the scenic train to Granby the next morning.

Travel Note

BUSTANG OUTRIDER

Bus Take the A-train from DIA to Union Station ($10 dollar fee), then take the BUSTANG OUTRIDER (a nice charter bus) to Granby. This option would be an estimated two hour and 30 minutes travel of time. BUSTANG leaves Denver, Union Station @3:15PM Daily and drops you off at the Granby 7-11. From there you will have to arrange travel for the 2-mile ride to Sun Outdoors. Uber serves Granby but are rare and unreliable. For the return trip to Denver's Union Station, BUSTANG leaves Granby at 9:30 AM Daily from the 7-11. You will have to arrange a ride back to the 7-11 from Sun Outdoors. When booking your bus from the website link, you must click on Craig-Denver line. Departure from Union Station (estimated $20-$40 round trip).

Stay- Most Recommended This is the place we are suggesting everyone to stay with the bride & groom due to having the perk of walking home from our reception! NSun Outdoors is 10-15 minutes from Nick's family mountain home and is the cutest luxury camping spot. Cabins, tiny homes, airstreams and more are on the Spiliotis/ Kimmell wedding room block until the end of September. Sun Outdoors has a pool, arcade, golf carts, options to rent bikes, paddle boards and more! So much fun for the weekend and the ability to stay near many of the guests in the wedding. House Or Rental

Grand Lake or Granby Lodging

If you would like to stay near but somewhere else other than Sun Outdoor Rocky Mountain, you can stay in Grand Lake or Granby, CO. These areas will be anywhere from 10-15 minutes away from the ceremony and reception. Grand Lake is right outside of Rocky Mountain National Park with a beautiful little town with plenty of restaurants and stores to see!
