Lily and Nick’s story began in 2018 at The Dunlavy restaurant, where they worked together and quickly became friends. What started as easy conversation between coworkers slowly turned into something more meaningful, though neither of them saw it coming at the time. By 2020, as the world adjusted to pandemic life, their friendship quietly blossomed into something more. Lily had just moved to San Francisco, but distance didn’t stop Nick from visiting her more than a few times. Somewhere between those trips, they realized they were onto something pretty great. They share a love for travel, good wine, and the occasional Taco Bell run. (Fun fact: Nick wasn’t much of a wine drinker until Lily came along, which she still takes full credit for.) Weekend getaways to Napa and Sonoma became a favorite way to unwind, filled with laughter, new spots to explore, and more than a few glasses of wine. When they first met, Lily had a dog named Ollie, who was famously picky about people. Ollie surprised everyone by instantly approving of Nick, which felt like a good sign. These days, Lily and Nick share their lives with their dog Charlie, who adds even more love, laughter, and playful chaos to their days. In 2024, during a trip to Barcelona, Nick pulled off a well-thought-out proposal that Lily never saw coming. It was perfectly them; thoughtful, joyful and full of love. From coworkers to friends to partners, Lily and Nick’s journey has been full of fun, growth, and shared adventures.
