Upper Piney Trail, is a 6-mile out-and-back trail with beautiful aspens and pine trees. Meander along the stream up to the waterfall with breathtaking lake and mountain views. Kayaks are also available to rent at Piney River Ranch.
Take exit 190 off I-70 then head west to get to Shrine Pass road. A moderate hike that has beautiful wild flowers at the right time of year.

One of the most popular hikes in Vail! You can hike up to the falls or, for the very adventurous, tack on the full route up to the lake.
If you do this hike while the gondola is running, you can choose to skip either the uphill or downhill portions of the hike by taking the gondola.

The Gore Valley Trail is a popular multi-use paved path that follows the Gore Creek offering scenic views of the mountains, creek, and golf course. If you're feeling adventurous head up the gondola for some downhill mountain biking!
