FAQs

Question

Is the ceremony outdoors? What is the weather like in Vail in late June?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony will be held outdoors, weather permitting. Summer afternoons in the mountains can have very unpredictable weather, particularly with passing thunderstorms, but generally the temperature is quite pleasant! It can get a bit chilly in the evening, but we will be moving indoors for the reception following the ceremony. In the event of a thunderstorm, we will relocate to the indoor reception area. However, if there is no rain or even if it sprinkles, we will be getting married outside no matter the temperature!

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

This is a child free event. We know you love your kids and we do too, but please don't bring them to the ceremony or reception.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

The wedding invitation will be addressed to the invited guests. All invited members of your party will appear in the RSVP form.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

You will need to find your own transportation to the Eagle Bahn gondola in Lionshead, which will take you to the ceremony site. If you're staying in Lionshead, the gondola is a short walk away. If you stay in Vail Village, it takes approximately 20 minutes to walk to Lionshead. There is also an in-town shuttle that runs from the Covered Bridge in Vail Village to Lionshead. Transportation from the ceremony to the reception will be provided. Please note that while we will be going up the mountain using the Eagle Bahn gondola in Lionshead, we will be returning down a separate gondola that takes you to Vail Village. Transportation will not be provided from Vail Village to Lionshead after the reception. In addition to the in-town shuttle mentioned above, Vail has excellent free public transportation within the Vail Valley. Bus schedules are available online. There are also public parking structures in both Lionshead and in Vail Village. Please plan accordingly.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The wedding attire is semi-formal. Get ready to dance the night away!
