Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center
This was so worth the stop on our way down to Seward. The photo above is one of many we took seeing all the wildlife. It is $15 per car and you can either drive it around or walk, it’s about 2 miles.
Turnagain Arm
There are turn offs every 2-3 miles through the Turnagain Arm pass that were different views with short hikes to waterfalls.
Seward Highway drive from anchorage
On our drive from anchorage to Seward we stopped at 1,2,3,4,8,15. Number 18, Resurrection Bay is where we will be staying at Millers Landing.
Exit Glacier- Kenai Fjords
We did the Exit Glacier Overlook trail, I would say it’s easy but had a couple parts you had to climb up small rocks. It was about 2 miles round trip and worth the whole hike to the glacier. If you go to the left to glacier view, it’s where I said yes!
Major Marine Tours
We did the half day 4 hour wild life cruise. It was worth it! We were lucky enough to see 4 Orcas swimming in the Gulf along with a lot of bald eagles and sea lions. Even on a rainy day would do it again. If you are staying at Harbor 360 you will get a discount for your cruise.
