Limited spaces are available in the school parking lot right next to the church. Street parking is also available for free in the neighborhood by the church where the ceremony will take place. The reception venue has a parking lot for our guests only, however there is not enough parking spots for all of our guests in the lot. We’re asking if our local guests would give first priority for parking in the lot to our guests coming from out of town and those who have accessibility needs or small children—thank you! There are street parking spots in the neighborhood right next to the venue if capacity in the parking lot is full. Any vehicles parked in the venue lot must be gone by 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 26.
The doors to the reception venue will open at 5:00 p.m. Please wait to arrive until just before that time, as venue staff will be preparing the space. If you’d like to pass the time, there are beautiful nearby trails—feel free to enjoy a walk along the Oak Leaf Trail or through the Arboretum by our venue or along Lake Michigan! There is a list of other things to do on our website.
We have selected a menu that accommodates a variety of dietary needs. If you have a severe allergy or dietary restriction, or are concerned about eating from a buffet, please let us know in the rsvp or text us directly.
The bride and groom, along with their families, are delighted to host an open bar for all guests. A variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available throughout the evening. Outside liquor or beverages are not allowed at the venue.
We are excited to celebrate with you and your little ones! Please keep a close eye on your children throughout the evening. We ask that they do not play near the buffet or guest tables before or during the meal as there will be open flames and glassware. If weather permits, there will be an open field available where children are welcome to play. The bridal suite on the mezzanine level will be available for nursing mothers. An elevator is available for easy access to the upper level.
There’s an outdoor patio at the venue and we’ll have heaters to keep this space warm if needed. If you’d enjoy stepping outside (especially in the evening), we recommend bringing a sweater or light jacket just in case it’s chilly in April!
