In 2022, we both felt called to move from Michigan and Ohio to Milwaukee, WI for work and community (Nick came for the Packers too). During the Fourth of July weekend in 2024, we met playing a pickup volleyball game organized by a mutual friend. The group went to Culver’s after their game, and Jaclyn invited everyone that played to her housewarming party a few weeks later (secretly hoping Nick would come too). Nick showed up at the party and, by the end, asked Jaclyn to go on their first date: bowling and pool!

We learned that we share many common interests— playing sports, spending time outdoors and with friends, getting involved with the Catholic community, and exploring Milwaukee. Through dates and adventures (including many drives to Michigan and Ohio), we continued to grow closer. A year later, Nick proposed on July 4, 2025 after a day of exploring Cincinnati, OH and planned a family celebration that night with Krammers and Thompsons. It was the perfect ending to a special day. We look forward to April 25, 2026 and would love to see you there!
