International Travel Information- DRIVING OVER THE BORDER (Including flying to Buffalo then driving)
If you're traveling from the United States to Canada, every individual (including children) will need a valid passport whether you're flying or driving. ***A REAL ID WILL NOT GRANT YOU ACCESS OVER THE BORDER! IT NEEDS TO BE AN ENHANCED ID IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO NOT USE A PASSPORT*** For driving, you can enter through a land border crossing with your passport or an enhanced driver’s license. You may be asked a few questions by Canadian border officers including your purpose for travel, how long you are staying, where you'll be staying, and if you have any goods to claim. Make sure to stop at the stop line while the car in front of you is speaking with the border agent. Also make sure that when it is your turn to speak with the border agent that you put the car into park, roll down the driver's side windows (front and back), and have all passports or enhanced licenses ready.

International Travel Information- FLYING OVER THE BORDER
If you're FLYING into a Canadian airport (most likely Toronto), a passport is required for all travelers, including children. ***AN ENHANCED LICENSE WILL NOT WORK IF YOU ARE FLYING INTERNATIONALLY.*** The gate agent will not allow you to board the aircraft without a passport. Make sure you're not bringing any restricted items (like certain foods, firearms, or cannabis), and check if you need proof of funds or travel plans. Once you de-board the plane, you will be directed to customs. There, you will be called to one of the self-serve kiosks where you will scan your passport, enter your information, and take a picture. Once you are approved, you are ready to enjoy the weekend!
Flight
Buffalo Niagara International Airport
This is the airport we usually fly into. It is small, easy to navigate and just a 45 minute drive to Port Colborne. From here, you can rent a car or Uber to the border for someone else to pick you up. However, Ubers cannot take you over the border. They will drop you off at the land crossing and you will have to walk through border control then grab another Uber once you've crossed over. It is about a 10 minute walk and there is a fee of $1.00.
Flight
Toronto Pearson International Airport
Although the closest Canadian airport to our venue, this airport is about an hour and a half drive from Port Colborne. They do have rental cars here or you can take the GOTrain to Niagara Falls. This might be a good airport to fly home from if you're thinking of visiting Toronto! Just make sure you have a passport if you are planning on flying to or from here since enhanced IDs will not work for flying!

This is where we reserved a room block and it is 20 minutes away from the venue. We have 30 rooms set aside consisting of standard king rooms ($279 CAD) and standard two queen rooms ($299 CAD). These rooms must be booked by June 3rd, 2026 or they will be released. We have July 2-4 set aside in the block. You can stay all of those nights or as long as you would like. This hotel overlooks the Niagara Falls and is in walkable distance from Clifton Hill, Journey Behind the Falls, Voyage to the Falls, WildPlay, and many restaurants! It is 30 minutes from our venue.

This hotel is also near the falls and is just a short drive to the tourist area of the Niagara Falls and 25 minutes from our venue!

If you are thinking of renting an Airbnb for the weekend, cities you may want to consider looking in are: Welland, Port Colborne, Thorold, St. Catherines, and Niagara Falls. Some cities are closer to the venue while others are closer to the tourist areas. It just depends on what you want!
