If you have any additional questions other than what we've listed here, please contact Brittney or Nick directly! Thank you!
Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Formal Invitations will be sent at a later date and will include RSVP details. We will be attaching a QR code to our formal invitations, similar to our save the dates, that will bring you directly to a link where you can RSVP for all guest listed on your invitation. We will also include a paper RSVP for those who may not be as tech savvy or prefer paper forms.

Question

What if we do not RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by September 10, 2026 you will be marked as "not attending". We would love to celebrate with you, however, we will have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVP's. (This is because we unfortunately would not have arranged seating or food accommodations for you)

Question

Can I Bring A Date or a Plus One?

Answer

We kindly ask that you only bring a plus one if your invitation list a plus one option. Your invite will be made out to "(Your Name) & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are Children Invited?

Answer

We absolutely adore all of your little ones, however, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults-only event with the exception of children specifically named on invitations and the children within the wedding party, Peyton and Brent. We appreciate you making prior arrangements so you can celebrate with us! If you have any additional questions in regards to this, please feel free to reach out to Brittney directly.

Question

Where will the wedding take place?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all take place at one space. The Waters Edge Estate 624 Waterville Road, Skowhegan, ME, 04976.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00PM. We ask that you arrive and are seated no later than 2:45 or you will sadly miss out on the ceremony. You may arrive as early as 2:15 and it will give you time to park and find your seat. Either side is open to seating behind the first 2 reserved rows for immediate family.

Question

Parking?

Answer

There is a large onsite parking lot fit for more than 100 cars. This is to your right as you enter onto the road to the venue. There will be signage directing the way. The venue coordinators will be shuttling guest to and from the parking area to the venue via golf carts prior to the ceremony (if needed/wanted) and at any point in the night, even just to run up for a jacket. They are amazing!

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony is planned to be outdoors (pending weather) and our cocktail hour & reception indoors at our venue. If weather has alternative plans on the day of our wedding, all events will be held indoors.

Question

Can I Take Pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you could give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we recieve them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Please refer to our accommodations page for information on hotels we have reserved discounted room blocks.

Question

What is the easiest way to get to and from the venue?

Answer

At this time, guest are responsible for their own transportation from hotel to venue and vice versa. We are looking into shuttle services locally at this time due to the hotels within the area not having shuttle accommodations & will update this section prior to formal invitations being sent out if anything changes.

Question

Answer

Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Go all out, we are only doing this once after all! Think “Old Money Aesthetic”. Please refer to our "Dress Code" page for examples. Dress code is formal/cocktail attire. Ladies: A sophisticated midi dress, floor length gown, or an elegant formal jumpsuit. Gentlemen: Slacks with a button down shirt and tie or a suit. PLEASE refrain from overly casual attires such as jeans, mini dresses, everyday sneakers, and of course, avoid white.

Question

What is the wedding color scheme?

Answer

Black, white and touches of dusty blue. Our wedding party will be wearing all black, with the exclusion of Peyton and Brent, who will be my "Something Blue".
