FAQs

We did our best to answer the most common questions, but if you have any others, please reach out to our wedding planner, Bryana Napthen at 734-560-9275.
Question

When and how should I RSVP?

Answer

Please visit the RSVP tab here on our site and find your name. Please respond by August 1st.

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by August 1st, you will be marked as not attending. We would love to celebrate with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs. (This means you will not be able to show up to our special weekend. There will be no seating, food, or drink accommodations for you.)

Question

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

We will miss you! If you cannot attend, please respond with "will not attend" on your RSVP. If you already RSVP'd "attending", but find that you cannot make it, please let us know as soon as you are aware.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our dream wedding is to be surrounded by all of our loved ones, so we have a strict guest list. Unless your invitation says “and Guest,” we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but unless their name is on your invitation, please make prior child care arrangements.

Question

Is there a dress code for the Wedding?

Answer

We cannot wait to see everyone all dressed up, so our dress code is cocktail attire. Ladies can wear midi or floor length dresses. Gentlemen can wear slacks and button down shirts with tie. Please no jeans, sneakers, and of course, no white.

Question

Is there a dress code for the Welcome Party?

Answer

Dressy casual

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 3:30pm and be seated by 3:45, so we can start our ceremony on time at 4pm. If you arrive late, please be mindful if the ceremony has already started.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

There is a very long driveway to the property. Please follow the signs for designated parking.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony, meaning, no phones or cameras will be allowed until the cocktail hour begins. We have hired professional photographers and videographers to capture our day for us, and we promise to share some photos as soon as we receive them. If your phone is out, you will be asked to put it away.

Question

What is the venue like?

Answer

The welcome party, ceremony, and cocktail hour will be outside, and the reception will be inside an event barn.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Please check out the Travel and Things To Do tabs to find a few rental/hotel options. If you are coming in from out of town, we highly recommend making a weekend out of it!

Question

Are we registered anywhere?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding weekend is gift enough, but if you are considering purchasing something, we have a few cash funds listed under the registry tab here on our website, or a card can be dropped in a card box at both the shower and the wedding reception.
