Flight
The closest airport to the Las Vegas Strip is Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) — just a quick 10–15 minute drive to most major hotels, including the Flamingo. Pro tip: The airport has slot machines — yes, you can win (or lose) before you even grab your luggage. 🎰
Train
The Las Vegas Monorail is one of the easiest (and coolest) ways to move up and down the Strip — no traffic, no parking, and blessedly air-conditioned. It runs along the east side of the Strip with stops at major resorts including the Flamingo, Harrah’s/The LINQ, Paris, and more, making it perfect for bouncing between hotels, restaurants, and attractions. Trains arrive every few minutes, and it runs late — typically until midnight on weekdays and 3:00 AM on weekends. Tickets are about $5 per ride, or you can grab an unlimited day pass for $13. Pro tip: If you’re staying at the Flamingo, the monorail station is just behind the property — a quick walk and a total lifesaver in the Vegas heat.
Travel Note
The Deuce on the Strip If you’d rather ride above ground and take in the sights, hop on The Deuce — Las Vegas’s double-decker bus that runs 24/7 along the Strip and all the way to Downtown Las Vegas. It stops at nearly every major hotel and attraction, including the Flamingo, Caesars Palace, and MGM Grand, making it one of the most convenient (and budget-friendly) ways to get around. Tickets are available right at the stops or via the RTC app, with fares around $6 for a 2-hour pass, $8 for a 24-hour pass, or $20 for a 3-day pass. Pro tip: Sit on the top deck for the best views of the Strip — it’s air-conditioned, scenic, and a great way to people-watch without melting in the heat. Download the RTC app for up to date information on scheduling. Tickets can be purchased online, at a ticket vending machine or through the app.

The Flamingo Hotel & Casino is the heart of our wedding weekend — and for good reason. It’s where we’ll be staying, where our ceremony will take place on Saturday, October 3 at 5:30 PM in the Garden Chapel, and where our limo bus will pick everyone up at 6:50 PM to head to dinner at Carmine’s NYC. Why We Love The Flamingo The Flamingo has that perfect mix of vintage Vegas charm and modern fun — lush gardens, bright pink neon, and plenty to do without ever leaving the property. It’s the kind of place where you can sip a cocktail, spot actual flamingos, and still make it to Auntie Anne’s before your next adventure. Flamingo Fun Facts Food: There are several spots to grab a bite on-site, but a few stand out: Gordon Ramsay Burger – where you’ll probably find Gina and Dwayne glued to a booth. Pinky’s by Vanderpump – for our Bravo-lovers who enjoy a cocktail with a chandelier view. Auntie Anne’s – if Gina happens to be late to the ceremony, check here first. Nathan’s Famous – a little taste of home for our tri-state area guests (and a perfect cure for those Vegas mornings). Starbucks – for anyone needing caffeine before, during, or after the festivities. Relaxation: Take your pick between the Spa at Flamingo or one of the resort pools — a family pool for lounging and the 21+ GO Pool, complete with a swim-up bar and DJs. Nightlife: Bars, casinos, and entertainment are steps away, because this is Vegas. Whether you’re up for cocktails or blackjack, you’ll find plenty to keep the night going. Bonus Fun Fact: The Flamingo has its very own Wildlife Habitat — yes, a real one! You’ll find a flock of Chilean flamingos, exotic waterfowl, and brown pelicans, plus koi, turtles, and even albino catfish. If you’re lucky, you might spot hummingbirds zipping by — they’re year-round residents and total show-offs.
