Things To Do
Friends Trail Loop Trailhead
Our favorite hiking trail in the area. It starts with a pretty good incline then gets much easier. The views are worth the incline. If you're not interested in hiking you can park in the Friends Trail parking lot and head to the left of the trail entrance for a quick and easy view of the river.
Hochatown Rescue Center & Petting Zoo
If you don't go here, your loss. 90% of the animals here are rescues and it's a great spot to support. Make sure you ask for Helen the ground hog and Ruby the raccoon.
Grateful Head Pizza Oven & Tap Room
The most popular restaurant in town, and for good reason! There's often live music on the patio and it's connected to several cute gift shops.
Tacohoma Tacos and More
Great little taco shack right outside the state park. Sebastian says get the watermelon water and Nicole says get street style tacos.
Mountain Fork Brewery
Damn good beer, damn good food, and a damn good patio.
Beavers Bend Brewery
This brewery has Big Foot beer and sits at the top of the town. There is a large patio and outdoor games.

Foggy Bottom Kitchen
New restaurant right on the river in the state park. The surrounding area is gorgeous, just keep an eye out for Big Foot.
