Nicole & Sebastian

Technically we met in middle school. Sebastian's mom was Nicole's teacher and she remembers Mrs. Schmidt's tall son coming into the classroom frequently to ask for vending machine money. However, Sebastian claims he has no recollection of Nicole from middle school. Although we've had many of the same friends over the past 15 years and have seen each other in passing dozens of times, things got romantic when Sebastian decided Nicole was cute just a few years ago. Some mutual friends convinced Nicole that Sebastian was a great catch and it turns out - they were right. We finally decided to hang out together and then decided to never stop hanging out.

Nicole knew that Sebastian was thinking of proposing and she knew that there was no way he'd be able to surprise her. To her surprise, he surprised her. As they checked into The Line Hotel in Austin, Texas for a weekend getaway Nicole thought nothing of it. She lingered through the hotel and talked to strangers about how cute their dog Tank is while Sebastian was having an internal panic attack. Once she finally got to the room she opened the door and saw giant balloons, flowers, and champagne. She was shocked. She turned around to Sebastian and yelled "THIS IS HAPPENING?" and then he said a bunch of nice shit.
