We recommend booking by Jan 2026. Flights can be booked to SLC airport (50 mins drive to Sundance) or to PVU airport (30 mins).
Optional dress is Western Casual - denim a must and western boots, hats, bolo ties, and accessories are absolutely encouraged. Let your inner cowboy and cowgirl shine!
Summer Garden Cocktail - elegant attire of florals, pastels, and your suit of choice… anything that gives off “spin in circles under fireflies” vibes and is comfortable to dance in. The ceremony location is dirt, so leave your stilettos at home.
Beyond the spectacular views that we can’t wait for you to see, there are a few nuances we want to share: a 10 minute ski lift ride is your transportation, it is a dirt ground so choose your heels wisely, a Porta Potty is the bathroom at the summit, there is no shade but we will be supplying some umbrellas, and we will have lemonade at the top, but an extra water bottle is never a bad idea.
The Reception dinner will be buffet. Please let us know if you have any dietary concerns with the options below. Arugula Salad with Quinoa, Dates, Sunflower Seeds, Feta, Grilled Lemon Vinaigrette. Heirloom Carrots. Sliced Red Potatoes with Caramelized Onions. Mushroom Ravioli with Madeira Cream Sauce. Moroccan Chicken with Spiced Chicken Jus. Braised Boneless Beef Short Rib with Braising Jus and Horseradish.
All guests receive a complimentary continental breakfast at the Inn. There are also restaurants and a small market at the Resort. It is recommended to get reservations for the following meals if you don’t plan to use the small market, Owl Bar, or travel outside the resort: Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, Sunday breakfast. If you prefer homemade meals, make sure you book one of the room types with a kitchen. Grocery stores are 20 minutes away near Orem.
We encourage you to come on Friday so you can enjoy group activities on Saturday! If you arrive on or before Friday, text us to let us know. If there is a big enough group, we’ll organize some activities and meals for Friday evening!
If you like to explore beyond Sundance, then yes! Car rentals are available at both airports. Otherwise, Ubers are available. All wedding events will take place at the Resort, so a rental car isn’t necessary.
#1 item is your drivers license! You will learn that Utah is funky with its liquor laws, and it will be required to get into the Owl Bar. For Saturday, please bring athletic clothes and sneakers for a short hike and a swimsuit to lounge in the warm west sun. Leave your stilettos at home, and don’t forget your denim for our happy hour! Extra Sundance bonus points for cowboy boots, hats, and bolo ties.
In mid-June, Sundance enjoys mild mountain weather, with daytime highs in the 80s and cooler evenings in the 50s. Pack layers as the mountain air can feel warm in the sun but chilly after sunset.
While we adore your kiddos, our wedding events will be adults only. If you’re traveling with your children to Utah and would like to make a family trip of it, please let us know, as we’re exploring group baby sitting options.
We’re hosting an intimate celebration with fewer than 70 guests, so we unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests outside of those who received an invitation. Thank you for understanding as we create a warm, close-knit, and joyful celebration.
