Wedding Party

Vanessa Hairston

Matron of Honor

Undergraduate friendship turned into sisterhood when Vanessa, her husband Jamil, and Erica all shared a house while pursuing their master's degrees. From baking to playing sports to dog obedience classes we've done it together.

John Roney

Best Man

This seventh-grade friendship started in Centralia, Missouri, and grew in Tennessee, India, London, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Idaho. John followed Nicholas overseas, and Nic followed John into camp ministry. John's Pastoral ministry now has him back in Michigan for his masters. From the crowned jewels to the grand canyon, we've done it all.

Paige Wilson

Matron of Honor

Though people can never seem to agree on whether we look nothing alike or everything alike, we are sisters through and through. As the older sister, Paige has been there every step of the way for Erica.

Josh Barnett

Best Man

That's my brother! Josh has always made his older brother proud, from being better at sports as a kid to singing like an angel. He's followed in Grandpa Duane's footsteps working with children, and I couldn't be more proud.

Sarah Pak

Bridesmaid

Though they didn't meet until college, as suite mates for one year and roommates for 3 years of college, Erica and Sarah became close friends. Runs in the rain together were a favorite activity as we went through college.

Daniel Ikpeama

Groomsman

Dan and Nic have gradually become brothers. Daniel was close friends with Josh in high school and seemed to be home more often than Nicholas was. Now we spur each other on as artists. He inspires me.

Jasmin Duany

Bridesmaid

Though we went to undergrad together, this friendship really kicked off while we were both working towards our masters degrees at Andrews University. Meeting to talk, pray, and have breakfast for dinner turned into a monthly habit for us!

Brent Learned

Groomsman

We only really know each other from two contexts. We worked at North Star Youth Camp in Minnesota, and we've been friends ever since. Anytime I'm in Colorado for anything, Brent, Cassie, and I meet up for an adventure. Ministry and Mountains.

Kaylin King

Bridesmaid

We grew up together and our families always had fun at bonfires and game nights, but our friendship really took off when Kaylin's last semester of college and Erica's first overlapped. Mission trips, game nights, and bonfires have been staples in their friendship.

Tobias Watson

Groomsman

Tobias and Nicholas came together and bonded first and foremost over a mutual desire for deep, genuine spiritual growth and strength. We've gone camping together countless times, and Tobias and Arelli taught me Settlers of Catan.

Jessica Thompson

Bridesmaid

We met in college, and formed a friendship as we shared the fun and the struggles of our Psychology major life together. Hours would be spent together as we made our way through the class RDS, but also as we enjoyed cooking and praying together.

Rosten Dieter

Groomsman

Some people bring you so much joy. Rosten is one of those. We spent far too much of our college time on Minecraft, movies, and shenanigans, but nothing is quite like a good ole ax through the leg for bonding.
