Our venue is very strict on the number of people that can be present for the reception, so unless they are coming as your guest, extra guests (including kids) are not permitted. Please let Emily know if you have any questions or concerns about this!
It is up to you! You can wear a mask if you prefer, but it is not required by Cacapon State Park.
If your invitation indicates you can bring a guest, then yes! If your invite does not indicate you can bring a guest, we would prefer just you.
We really, really encourage everyone to get vaccinated if you can! The more people who are vaccinated, the safer the reception will be. Getting the vaccine is not a requirement to attend the reception (we won't be checking vaccination cards), but we highly encourage it.
No! We had our ceremony last year without a reception, so this year we are having a reception without the ceremony. The reception is the only event for our wedding this year.
Yes, it is really on a Friday! It is not ideal, but rescheduling the reception during COVID-19 was not an easy task. We totally understand if you aren't able to make it due to work or other conflicts, and if you are able to make it, we can't wait to see you!
If you are staying at Cacapon, the reception and lodging are very close together so there is no need for a shuttle! If you are staying in Berkeley Springs, Hancock, Martinsburg, or another close by location, we do not provide transportation but there is plenty of parking. If you need help getting here just let us know!
Yes! Cocktail attire, please! However, make sure to wear clothes you are comfortable with for dancing!
Yes! Parking is available right next to the venue.
