Long story short, Nia and Garrett have been friends since middle school (they met in band of course) and even went to prom together junior year of high school. They -- and everyone around them -- knew they had a special connection, but they parted ways when Nia went off to explore New York and Garrett left to play basketball literally around the world. They reconnected after college and since then, they've never been apart. In the first few months of dating, Nia and Garrett even went ring shopping -- knowing even then that their relationship was meant to last. Through the years of taking care of Pete and Lil, Garrett cooking dinner nightly, surviving long-distance, Nia making it through PT school, and moving to Durham -- Nia and Garrett have shown all their friends and family what committed, kind, and exciting love can look like. And now they can't wait to celebrate this joy at their wedding with everyone who has been with them along the way!
