Is a passport required?

Yes – a valid passport is required for all guests traveling to Mexico for our destination wedding. Please make sure your passport is: Valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates In good condition (not damaged or expired) Up to date with your current name and personal information If you don’t have a passport or need to renew, we recommend doing so as soon as possible, as processing times can vary. We want everyone to arrive smoothly and stress-free—so double-check those passports now! ✈️🌴

As you can imagine, this is a very busy week for us with so many of our loved ones traveling to Mexico and finalizing the details for our big day. To help streamline communication, please download WhatsApp, as it will be our primary method of staying in touch during the week. We’ll add all attendees to a group chat to ensure everyone stays up to date with the latest information.

How far is the resort from the airport?

The Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen is located approximately 35 miles (56 km) from Cancún International Airport (CUN). Estimated drive time: 45–55 minutes, depending on traffic. Recommended transportation: Resort shuttle (coordinated via Amstar DMC) Licensed taxi or rideshare apps like Uber

Yes. A pre-authorized HOLD will be applied as a deposit. Please consult with the Front Desk staff for specific details.

Do I need to bring money and exchange my currency to Mexican Pesos when I arrive?

Answer

Your all-inclusive plan includes meals, drinks, entertainment, and many more fun-filled activities. However, it is recommended to bring extra cash for off-site expenses, spa/beauty services, tours, and transfers. The resort may provide US Dollars to Mexican Peso exchange services subject to availability. Payments are accepted with cash for up to US$1500 per person, per stay, and you may also use credit cards as a means of payment.

All tips and gratuities are included in your all-inclusive package. Additional gratuities are most welcome by our staff should services exceed your expectations.

Does the resort provide medical services or support?

Answer

A third-party medical doctor is available on-site on a 24 basis. Certified lifeguards are available in pool and beach areas, first aid is provided on a 24 hour basis for emergency situations.

What's included in my all-inclusive package?

Answer

All drinks and meals are included. On-site entertainment, fitness facilities, and daily outdoor and indoor activities are included. Multiple social activities are also part of the all-inclusive package. Please consult our Activities page for more information. The following services are not included as part of the all-inclusive plan, except as otherwise provided: Spa, beauty services, hydrotherapy experience and the Temazcal experience Third-party on-site boutique stores Off-site tours and excursions Airport transfers, taxis, local shuttle services, car rentals National and international telephone calls Certain specialty wines and spirits Laundry and dry-cleaning services Romantic dinners, and other specialty private dinners Please note there is a $33 Mexican pesos Environmental Tax per room, per night on arrival.
