FAQs

Question

Do I get a +1?

Answer

Your invitation will indicate how many people are included in your party. If it states that '1' person is invited, you are not allotted a +1. Due to limited seating and our big families, we are unable to accommodate everyone. If you do bring a person that is not on the guestlist, due to the seating arrangements, your guest will not have a place to sit. Please talk to us before you bring any additional guests! However, if there is a '2' indicated on your invitation, please enter your name in the 'RSVP' tab and there will be a prompt to enter your +1.

Question

How do I RSVP online?

Answer

Please RSVP by typing in the name(s) written on the invitation card. You can then follow the prompts and RSVP or decline for those in your party.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Please dress in formal wear - no jeans please! And of course, dress for the weather. Also, please do not wear white dresses, ladies!

Question

Will the ceremony be held indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors if weather permits. Please dress accordingly and take your allergy meds! If it is too hot or is raining, the ceremony will be held indoors.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at 4:00 PM if you are attending the ceremony. A short cocktail hour will be held afterwards where snacks and drinks will be provided. There will also be a photo op with the couple - this is allotted for one hour, so take a shot and get their quick! Please be in your seats at 6:45PM for the Grande March and wedding dances. Dinner will be served afterwards.

Question

Is it an open bar?

Answer

YES! It will be an open bar for most of the wedding. It is cash bar ONLY during the hour of the Grande March, wedding dances, and the beginning of the dinner service. We want to ensure that all guests are in their seats at this time as to not miss out on memories and food! Before and after that, it is an open bar. Tip is not included for the bartenders, so tip them if they provide exceptional service!

Question

Can I take pictures/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are opting for an 'unplugged ceremony' so we kindly ask you to refrain from using your phone during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer and professional videographer to capture this momentous stage in our lives. We would like to look back on our pictures and see that we have our guests undivided attention and wouldn't want it ruined by guests being on their phones (taking pictures or otherwise). There will be designated guests who are allowed to record/FaceTime the event to our families in Vietnam. All other are not permitted to have their phones out. This would mean so much to us!
