What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather in Santa Barbara on 11/11/2022 is currently predicted to be a high of 62° and a low of 48°. [updated as of 11/09/2022]

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Those who have been invited have had their names indicated specifically on the save-the-date and on the invitation. Unfortunately, we cannot have any other guests attend the wedding due to capacity limitations.

Where is the ceremony? Where is the reception?

Answer

Ceremony: The Santa Barbara County Courthouse Sunken Gardens; 1100 Anacapa St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101 Reception: La Paloma Cafe; 702 Anacapa Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101 (the two places are an 8 minute walk, and a 1 min drive from each other)

What is the wedding attire? What are examples of what I should wear?

Answer

Attire: Cocktail Examples: Women - Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, floor length dresses. Men - Suit and tie. No jeans. *Note: The ceremony venue is grassy, so beware of heels that might sink into grass.

What is the parking situation?

Answer

Metered street parking and parking garages are available in the area for both the ceremony and reception venues.

Can I take photos of the ceremony with my cell phone or camera? How about the reception?

Answer

Ceremony: Please DO NOT take photos with your cell phone or camera. We have hired two very talented photographers to take photos of the big day, and it will make their jobs harder if they are fighting to eliminate cell phones from the photos. Reception: Yes! Please take photos! If you choose to post any photos on social media afterwards, we encourage you to include the hashtag #ngitforlife

When does the ceremony start? How about the reception?

Answer

Ceremony: Guests are encouraged to arrive at 3:45pm, as the wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. If you are late, you will miss part of the ceremony. Reception: Guests may arrive at the reception beginning at 6:00pm. The reception will be over at 10:00pm. After 10:00pm, feel free to enjoy the invigorating night life that Santa Barbara has to offer!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Immediate family will be taking photos and guests can head over to the reception beginning at 6:00pm. In the meantime, please stop by a bar, coffee shop, museum, take a stroll on the beach or walk around downtown and enjoy the beauty Santa Barbara has to offer.

Will there be dancing?

Answer

Due to limited spacing, we will not have room for dancing. However, you are more than welcome to go dancing afterwards.

I have a dietary restriction, will this be accommodated?

Answer

Absolutely! Please indicate this when you RSVP to the wedding so the chefs may accommodate this.

Answer

Answer

Ceremony: outdoors Reception: semi-covered patio

Where are the ceremony restrooms located?

Answer

Restrooms are located inside the courthouse building, on the second floor, down the hall. Restrooms will close promptly at 5:00pm.

How many guests will be in attendance?

Answer

About 60 people.

How do I get from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

You can drive (1 min) or walk (8 min).

When is the last day I can RSVP?

Answer

We would appreciate it if you could RSVP as soon as possible, however please respond no later than 08.11.2022.
