Michelle and I met on a late July night at San Antonio hospital. She was apprehensive at first, however, once she held me in her arms, our bond was unbreakable. She can create a Michelin Star meal out of left overs and puts her heart and soul into everything she does. We talk nearly everyday and she continues to be my biggest support and inspiration. Michelle is fierce, courageous, a supermom, loves the Lord, and is my best friend. I am honored to have her as my maid of honor!

Best Man
Gino’s been my day 1 friend since high school. We’ve been through so much together, met Jesus the same year, and I’m honored and proud to be the godfather of his daughter Remi! We always joke that at this point, our families are so close that our moms spread news to each other before we do.
Nicole

Nicole and I are truly twin flames. Aside from us looking pretty similar - she balances my spirit when my heart is anxious. Nicole is THE most intentional listener and with her I always feel heard. Nicole inherited the green thumb out of the family as well as the immaculate cooking gene. She is a mother, loves to be outdoors, has the voice of an angel, and is my best friend. I am beyond privileged to have her as my maid of honor!
David
Best Man
I met David in the parking lot outside the UCLA music building while loading in my gear. We both clicked instantly on listening to the same music, being way too sarcastic and offensive to each other, and food. The LORD has changed both of our sense of humors and definitely uses us to sharpen each other. David is always there when I need spiritual advice and prayer.

Michele is my longest childhood friend. We met in 5th grade, quickly realized that we lived down the street from each other and have been inseparable ever since! She has been my rock since day one through thick and thin. Michele is loyal, trustworthy, lights up the room, is a social butterfly, and always goes the extra mile for the people she loves. This past May I was one of Michele's bridesmaids (& Cory officiated her wedding)!! Now, only a year later, she will be returning bridesmaids duties and standing beside me on our special day!

Donnie has been the most consistent friend and the ONLY guitar player I would play with for years! He’s been a voice of reason, professionalism and reliability in my life. During our college days Donnie and David graciously let me sleep on their green couch as I’d commute 2.5 hours every weekend to stay with them and play music!
Gaby

Gaby and I met while working at Islands (yes the burger chain). She invited me to the beach one afternoon and the rest was history! Gaby has a determined spirit, she is the leader of the pack, an innovator, and most of all a strong Christian. She was with me when I got baptized and is a walking testimony of faith. When I find myself in a hard season, Gaby has a way of reminding me to always stay hopeful. I was a bridesmaid at her wedding and can't wait to have her standing by my side in June!

Haruka has been my go-to guy from high school days and remains to be one of my most loyal and supportive friends. He was way too cool for me back then but we quickly bonded over painting our rims together on our first cars, learning how to drive stick (and failing), traveling the world together and always having each other’s backs.

Gen and I met working at - yep you guessed it - Islands! We started our friendship after my other bridesmaid, Gaby, invited us to the beach. After years of friendship, I can fully attest that she is the epitome of elegance and creativity, THE most considerate person I have ever met, and never falls short of showing up for the people she loves. There have been countless moments where her compassion has lifted me up out of a rut, and she always encourages me to be my most authentic self. I am grateful to have her by my side on this special day!

Jason and I always joke how we never expected to be friends for this long. He’s been my consistent teammate in life and basketball coming up in the same league, constantly competing in every sport/ game, but at the same time just a humble down to earth soul. One day I aspire to have as smooth of an elbow jumper as jchoidy!

Shaunee and I met working at no other than - the infamous Islands! She is quite literally sunshine in human form. Her hugs are healing and her laugh is contagious. Somehow whenever I find myself having a hard time, she knows before I even step foot into the room. She always knows exactly how to brighten my day, is a faithful friend, has a heart of gold, a wonderful mother of two beautiful children, and continues to be a light in my life. I am blessed to have her as a friend and as one of my bridesmaids!

Ichi and I met through music but were room mates during the pandemic. We would spend every single day playing basketball, music, cook, then play Mario kart for an entire year. Ichi’s laughter is contagious and he’s always the life of the party. He’s also the only friend who shares my love for Yoshinoya.

Mel was my old apartment manager/neighbor for nearly 9 years! When we met, I was instantly enamored to say the least. She is fiery, the life of the party, and always knows how to have a good time. Alongside her sociable free spirit, Mel has a way of keeping me present, grounded, and in the moment. She fills me with confidence and showers me with support in all aspects of my life. Our connection is truly something special. I am more than thrilled to share this special day with her!
