Yes! We will be having a semi-formal dress code. Suits, tuxes, gowns and cocktail dresses are welcome! Dress to impress!
In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guest(s) formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one, they will appear when you RSVP.
While we love your little ones, we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause, but thank you for your understanding!
If we do not receive your RSVP by the July 25th, it will automatically be marked as a "no". We will miss celebrating with you, but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us.
We will be providing Uber vouchers for you to use to get to the venue! You may book it from wherever you are staying to Botanica (190 Wilshire Road). We have booked shuttles that will depart from Botanica back to the Seabird Resort. We recommend taking these shuttles if you are staying in the immediate area surrounding the Seabird! The first shuttle will leave the venue at 9:30pm. The last shuttle will leave the venue at 10:30pm. If you plan on driving to and from the venue, remember that you may leave your car at the venue if you find it unsafe to drive back! You just need to pick your car up between 10am-12pm the following day.
Please plan to arrive at 4pm and account for possible traffic from your accommodations to the venue! The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm.
Yes, there is a free parking lot on site at Botanica. If you have one too many drinks, you may leave your car onsite overnight, but must pick up your car between 10am-12pm the next day!
As many of our guests will be coming in from out of town, we will be hosting a welcome event for all those invited to the wedding on Thursday, August 28th. It will be at Masters Kitchen & Cocktail starting at 7:00pm until 9:30pm.
There is lots to do! Oceanside is a busy coastal beach town, with a bustling pier including surf lessons and water sports. There are fun restaurants and bars in the area as well. If you plan on spending more time in San Diego, however, we do recommend checking out of your Oceanside stay on Saturday and heading down the coast to La Jolla, Encinitas, or Central San Diego (i.e. Mission Valley is a central place to stay with lots of hotels!). San Diego is a Lyft/Uber friendly city should you opt not to rent a car!
